Paul Genevay

Paul Genevay ( born January 21, 1939 in Lagny -sur -Marne ) is a French former sprinter.

In the Mediterranean Games in 1959, he won the 100m silver and gold over 200 m.

The following year he reached at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 about 200 m the semi-finals and was eliminated with the French team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay in the run- off.

Four years later, he retired at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 over 200 m again in the semifinals. In the 4 x 100 meters relay he won the French quartet in the cast Genevay, Bernard Laidebeur, Claude Piquemal and Jocelyn Delecour the bronze medal.

In 1960 he became French champion in the 200 m, 1959 and 1964 runner-up.
