Paul Rosenstein-Rodan

Paul Rosenstein - Rodan Narcyz (* 1902 in Krakow, † April 28, 1985 in Boston ) was an Austrian economist.

Life

Rosenstein - Rodan was trained in Vienna in the Austrian tradition of economics, lived and taught after his emigration in England 1930-47, 1947-53 worked at the World Bank and then at various U.S. universities (MIT, Texas, Boston).

Work

Rosenstein - Rodan belonged to the fourth generation of the Austrian School called by Friedrich August von Hayek and influenced among others the marginal utility theory.
