Paul Smith (footballer born 1979)

Paul Daniel Smith ( born December 17, 1979 in Epsom ) is an English football player who is under contract with the English fourth division Southend United since 2012.

Sports career

Brentford FC

Paul Smith started his professional career at Charlton Athletic. In the club from the East London but he was not used and therefore moved in 1999 to Carshalton Athletic unterklassigen a club from the south of London. In August 2000, Smith moved to Brentford FC, a club based in West London. Brentford played at this time in the third highest English division. Paul Smith came here for the first time regularly used and occupied with his new club at the end of the season ranked 14th out of 24 teams. The 2001/02 season was very successful for Brentford. At the end of the season the club was number 3, but missed in the subsequent play-off climb. Southampton FC

Nottingham Forest
