Pays d'Aix RC

The Pays d' Aix Rugby Club (abbreviated PARC ) is a rugby union club based in the French city of Aix -en- Provence in the Bouches -du -Rhône. He is represented in the third highest league Fédérale 1. The home games are played at the Stade Maurice- David.

History

The club was founded in 1970 under the name Aix Rugby Club (ARC ). In 1979 he was promoted to the third highest national league. After relegation to the Regionalliga in 1984, the immediate revival followed. The first highlight of the club's history was the champion title of the third division in 1986. In 1998, the ARC the final of the second division. In 2001 he renamed the Pays d' Aix Rugby Club ( PARC ).

2004 won the PARC in the final of the Fédérale 1 and was French amateur champion. After two seasons in the professional league Pro D2 he had to descend in the Fédérale 1 again. 2009 succeeded, the renewed rise in the Pro D2, but the team was able to hold only one season.
