Pedro Barriere

Pedro barrier ( Cuba *, † May 18 1827 in Mejicanos ) was from 21 September 1821 to November 28, 1821 Supreme Director of the province of El Salvador in the Central American confederation.

Life

Beginning of the 19th century, Pedro Barrier official of Intendency de San Salvador in colonial New Spain. He was Letrado ( graduate of a university, with legal science habilitation ) and governor. Beginning of 1821 he broke José María Peinado from the Intendency as Regidor de San Salvador. He was the last of the colonial Intendency Regidor de San Salvador, and the first Supreme Director of the province of El Salvador.

Manuel José Arce y Fagoaga asked in Intendency de San Salvador after the election of an economic advisory board for El Salvador. Pedro Manuel José Arce y barrier Fagoaga suspected intention thereby to create a separatist body and ordered the arrest of Próceres (members of the early independence movement ): Manuel José Arce y Fagoaga, Domingo Antonio de Lara, Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Manuel Castillo, Mariano Fagoaga. and they had to Guatemala deport. José Matías Delgado y de León was in the Junta de Guatemala Consultiva as political head of the Intendency de San Salvador. He released the prisoners let in Santa Ana.

In the independent Central American confederation rose to Pedro barrier to colonel and died in the service of Manuel José Arce y Fagoaga at the Battle of Milingo.
