Pedro Luis de Borja Llançol de Romani OSIo.Hieros. (* 1472 in Valencia, Spain, † October 4, 1511 ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.
Life
Pedro Luis, known as Cardinal Borja Lanzol de Romani, was born as the fourth son of Jofré de Borja Llançol de Romani, ninth señor de Villalonga, and Juana de Moncada. His father was the son of Juana de Borja, sister of Rodrigo Borgia, and Pere Guillem Llançol de Romani, eighth señor de Villalonga. As a great-nephew of Pope Alexander VI. he had entered the Order of St. John and a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem. He was raised by his uncle on 20 March 1500 to the Cardinal in pectore. After the Pope had his name published on September 28th of that year, he made him on October 5 cardinal deacon of S. Maria in Via Lata. Already appointed on 29 July 1500 to the Archbishop of Valencia, he received a second titular church of S. Marcello on December 7, 1503 and was also Penitentiary. In June 1510, he became archpriest of Santa Maria Maggiore. He died on 4 October 1511th
His brother was Cardinal Juan de Borja Llançol de Romani.
