Penguin Software

Penguin Software, from 1986 Polar Ware, was a manufacturer of graphics software and computer games in Geneva (USA). The company was founded by Mark Pelczarski 1980 and existed until 1987. 1985 it came to litigation with the company Penguin Books, so the company was renamed to Polar goods.

The company became famous with some graphics programs, including Magic Paintbrush, special effects and especially The Graphics Magician, which was very popular and commercially successful at the time.

The company also developed several computer games, such as the three-part adventure series Transylvania, the first part was released for iOS in 2009.
