Peter Lustig

Peter Fritz Willi Lustig ( born October 27, 1937 in Breslau) is a German television presenter and children's author. He became known as the star of the children's series dandelion (1979-1980: dandelion ) and in the middle.

Life

Peter Lustig is a qualified radio engineer and studied electrical engineering after training. After graduating, he began with the U.S. radio station AFN to work as a sound engineer, later he went to the SFB. There he wrote the way radio plays, was a lecturer at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin, responsible for the tone of the film recording of John F. Kennedy's speech Ich bin ein Berliner front of the Rathaus Schöneberg and Günter Grass film adaptation of cat and mouse and also worked in the Beautiful Weltlaterne in Berlin Motz.

1973 Peter Lustig joined the program with the mouse in Einspielern titled Peter and Atze on, in which he explained together with the robot bird Atze technology (eg phone or door bell). Thereafter, he hosted the jackalope newsreel for Bayerischer Rundfunk. When a television production for broadcast Dandelion 1979 at ZDF Lustig was discovered as a presenter and actor. Peter Lustig was a member in the 1980s, the Osho-/Bhagwan-Bewegung until its founder died in 1990. In his second marriage he was married to Elfie Donnelly ( author inter alia of Benjamin Blümchen ), which also was a student of Osho and with whom he has a son ( Momme Pavi ). Donnelly wrote the children's book Peter's escape over the flight of eight -year-old Peter from Wroclaw.

1984 Peter Lustig ill from lung cancer, which was treated in seven surgeries and left him only one lung left. During his hospitalization, he wrote letters to his son, child-friendly, as the children's book titled Dear Momme - published Whimsical letters.

In 2004 launched the animated series mammoth country that originated in a German -French- British cooperation. Peter Lustig edited the German version of the show and said the inventor. The series takes place on an island where the people keep mammoths as working animals. Making the characters in each episode thematically related inventions and explain physical relationships.

Due to health restrictions Peter Lustig announced on 23 March 2005 announced its withdrawal into private life at. Together with his wife Astrid mountains Peter Lustig now lives in Berlin.
