Peter Swärdh

Peter Swärdh ( born February 27, 1965) is a Swedish football coach. He assisted in his coaching career Helsingborgs IF, Mjallby AIF and Åtvidabergs FF in Allsvenskan.

Career

Swärdh played for IFK Hässleholm as a defender. With the team he played for a time in the second highest Swedish league, but ended his active career early.

After Swärdh had officiated at his former station Game IFK Hässleholm and Högaborgs BK haupterantwortlicher as coach, he took over in 2000 as coach of the youth team of Helsingborgs IF. As Soren Cratz was relieved of his duties as head coach of the club in August 2002 - he had let himself be in a 1-3 defeat against his former club Hammarby IF of Stockholm's fans celebrate willingly - Swärdh moved by. In December 2006, the second division Åtvidabergs FF Swärdh presented as new coach after the previous owner of the coach post Kent Karlsson had not renewed his contract and signed with him a two-year contract with option to extend for another season. In the seasons 2007 and 2008, he finished with the team around players like Kristian Bergström, Pontus Karlsson and Daniel Hallingström each sixth place, before he resigned after the second season and moved on within the league to Mjallby AIF. With his new club, he dominated the second division season 2009. As the leader of an eight-point lead over his previous club Åtvidabergs FF he led the team to Marcus Ekenberg, Patrik Rosengren, Daniel Nicklasson and Mattias Asper in the premier league, where they first in their year than in sixth surprised. In the following two years, they placed themselves under his direction in the rear mid-table.

In November 2012 it was announced that Swärdh will leave after four years at the turn of Mjallby AIF and return to Erstligaaufsteiger Åtvidabergs FF, where he replaced Andreas Thomsson.
