Petr Å achl

Petr Sachl ( born December 2, 1977 in Jindřichův Hradec, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is since mid-October 2012 in SG Pontebba in the Italian Serie A1 under contract.

Career

Petr Sachl began his career as a hockey player with the HC České Budějovice, for the first team, he made his debut in the Czech Extraliga in the playoffs of the 1995/96 season. In his first two professional applications, he remained no points and was awarded two penalty minutes. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1996 in the fifth round as the 128th overall player of the New York Islanders, for whom he never played, however. Instead, he ran on in the Canadian Junior Football League Western Hockey League in the 1996/97 season for the Tri -City Americans. For this he scored in 63 games 37 scorer points, including 13 goals. However, the season itself, he finished again at HC České Budějovice in the Extraliga. In the following two years, the winger could not permanently penetrated in the Czech Republic and played only 24 games.

During the 1999/2000 season playing for the Fort Wayne Komets Sachl in the United Hockey League, scoring for his new team in a total of 65 games 65 scorer points, including 34 goals. He also came in the same season to three inserts for their league rivals Asheville Smoke and a commitment to the Tacoma Sabercats in the West Coast Hockey League. From 2000 to 2002, the Czech stood for the Milwaukee Admirals on the ice - first in the International Hockey League, and after it has been dissolved following the 2000/ 01 season in the American Hockey League. In both seasons, he was one of the players with the highest point yield in the Admirals.

In the summer of 2002 Sachl returned to Europe and signed a contract with Ässät Pori in the Finnish SM- liiga. In his first year in the top Finnish league, however he was only nine starts in which each get three goals and three assists him. In the following two seasons, he ran for Ässäts League rivals Jokerit Lappeenranta, in which he had a regular place and for whom he in 98 games 64 scorer points, including 27 goals scored. The 2004/05 season he finished, however, the IF in the Swedish Elitserien Brynäs. In the Kvalserien he reached the league with Brynäs. He then moved to White Tigers Liberec in the Czech Extraliga. For the North Czechs he played a total of four years and was able to at the second attempt but still prevail in his homeland.

The 2009/10 season spent the former Czech international at top Slovak club HC Košice, with whom he won the national championship title at first attempt. For this success he contributed nine goals and twelve templates in a total of 44 games. Players out on loan as he also completed four games for the KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec from his hometown. For this he contributed his brief stint in the second league, the third Czech league, two goals and four assists in. For the season 2010/11 he received a contract with HDD Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia. With the capital club, he failed in the Erste Bank Hockey League in the first playoff round with 1:4 victories on EC Red Bull Salzburg. He himself was in the main round with 53 points in 53 games two beter scorer of his team. Mid- October 2012, she moved to Italy, where he wrote from the Serie A1 at SG Pontebba.

Internationally

For Sachl Czech Republic, in 2004 and 2006 at the Euro Hockey Tour in part. He played six international matches, where he remained point - and unpunished.
