Piemonte Volley

Piemonte Volley ( for marketing reasons also BreBranca Lannutti ) is an Italian volleyball club from Cuneo, who plays in the Italian League and the Volleyball Champions League. The club has several times changed its name since its inception because of different sponsors.

History

National League and Cup

Piemonte Volley celebrated some successes in the Italian Cup competition. In the 2005/06 season the team with the Brazilian superstar Giba was able to win the trophy for the fourth time after 1996, 1999 and 2002. In the first three Cup victories, it also won the Supercup. 2010 won Piemonte Volley against Itas Diatec Trentino and thus became the first Italian masters.

European Cup

Piemento reached the final of the Champions League, which they lost narrowly to VK Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in the 2012/13 season.
