Pinch Runner
A Pinch Runner, abbreviated PR ( German: Einwechsel base runner), baseball is a reserve player who is not divided from the beginning in the batting order, but replaces a player who stands on a base.
Pinch runners are usually housed in a residue when a team has to collect more own runs, than to prevent opposing points. Pinch runners are very strong spurt players who often gather a lot of steals in a few innings in the rule. Pinch runners are more offensive than defensive and usually reserve infielder or outfielder - usually because a baseball team usually does not use the catcher or pitcher is difficult to replace for this role. Play a similar role a pinch hitter, replace the player who would actually intended as the next batter.
Pure Pinch Runner are in professional sports extremely rare, except in Major League Baseball is Herb Washington.
