Pingbian Miao Autonomous County

The Autonomous District Pingbian the (屏边 苗族 自治县, Pingbian Miaozu Zizhixian ) is an autonomous group of Miao Autonomous County in Honghe Hani and Yi in the south of the Chinese province of Yunnan Miao. It has an area of 1,905 square kilometers and a population of 150,000 ( 2004).

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, the autonomous district is composed of a large municipalities and six municipalities. These are:

• Greater community Yuping (玉屏 镇)

• Community Xinxian (新 现 乡)
• Community Heping (和平 乡)
• Community Baihe (白 河乡)
• Community Baiyun (白云 乡)
• Community Xinhua (新华 乡)
• Community Wantang (湾 塘乡)

Attractions

Built in 1907-1908 Wujiazhai Railway Bridge (五 家寨 铁路 桥, Wujiazhai tieluqiao ) Yunnan railway since 2006 is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-1053 ).
