Pino Dordoni

Giuseppe " Pino" Dordoni ( born June 28, 1926 in Piacenza, † October 24, 1998 ) was an Italian track and field athlete and Olympic champion.

At the 1948 Olympic Games was Dordoni ninth in the 10,000 m track walking. His first major title he won at the European Championships in 1950 in the 50- km Walk. Two years later Dordoni was then at the Olympic Games 1952 Olympic champion in the 50 km. 1956 Dordoni ninth in a 20 km Walk and 1960, he was 50 km once seventh.
