Geographical Location
Pinzberg lies in the Upper Franconia-West region.
Community structure
Pinzberg divided into four districts:
- Dobenreuth
- Elsenberg
- Gosberg
- Pinzberg

History
Pinzberg belonged to the Bishopric of Bamberg, which was in the Frankish Empire Circle from 1500. Since the Imperial Diet of 1803 the place belonged to Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.
Incorporations
On 1 May 1978, the formerly independent communities Dobenreuth and Gosberg were incorporated.
Population Development
Policy
Since 1996 there has been in Pinzberg a youth council. This was established by the then mayor Reinhardt Glauber to life. The reigning youth mayor since 2008 is Fabian Friedl Gosberg.
Parish council
The local council of Pinzberg has 13 members including the mayor.

1 Mayor Reinhard Seeber ( CSU / Biirgerblock ). Its predecessor was the current District Reinhardt Glauber (1990 to 1996).
2nd Mayor Peter Andexinger ( Commonwealth of Independent voters citizens) and third mayor of the state parliament Thorsten Glauber (CDU group).
Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: In a gold drifted into red top, is a silver gate tower on each side followed by silver freestone; beseitet front of a black three-leaf clover, the back of a black cornflowers bloom.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the manufacturing sector and 28 in the area of trade and transport any social insurance contributions at the workplace.
