The Piz d' Err is 3'378, 3 m above sea level. M. tall mountain in the Albula Alps in the canton of Graubünden in the rear of the Val d' Err, east of Mulegns and Rona. It is the eponymous junction of the Err group. In height he is, however, easily overlooked by Piz Güglia ( Piz Julier ) and Piz Calderas.
The Piz d' Err, thanks to its dominance, especially towards the west, an extraordinary long-distance views of the Bernese and Valais Alps ( Schreckhorn, Lauteraarhorn, Eiger, Mönch, Finstaarhorn, Aletschhorn, Dom, Allalinhorn or 150.34 kilometers distant Schwarzenberg Horn ).
Location
The Piz d' Err is named after the Err Err group in the area, which in turn belongs to the Albula Alps. Go from the Piz d' Err from branches to the south and southeast over Tschima since Flix to Piz and Piz Ot Güglia, to the east between the Albula Pass and Val Bever to Crasta Mora, North Branch of the Bergüner sticks. About the Summit, the municipal boundary between Tinizong - Rona and Sur runs. The border with Bever is located 370 m southeast of the summit. The Piz d' Err is bordered by the stone above the north by the Val d' Err, in the southeast by the Val Bever and in the West.
Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz lead Marscha, the Piz Laviner, the Piz Jenatsch, the Piz Calderas, the Piz Cucarnegl and Castalegns.
In the north- west and in the east of Piz d' Err are two small glaciers, as well as in the southeastern Vadret d' Err.
Valley is a Tinizong, Rona and Sur in the above stone, and Bever in the Upper Engadine. Common starting points are the Chamanna Jenatsch, the Alp Flix and the Alp d' Err.
