The Piz Ot (Romansh in the Ladin idioms for " high peak ", " peak high " ) is a 3'246, 4 m above sea level. M. tall mountain in the Albula Alps in the canton of Graubünden in front Bever Valley, northwest of Samedan and west of Spina. It is the eponymous junction of the Piz Ot - group. In height he is, however, easily overlooked by Piz Güglia ( Piz Julier ) and most of the peaks of Piz - d'Err group with Piz Calderas.

Location

The Piz Ot is named after the Ot - group in turn belongs to the Albula Alps. Go from the Piz Ot from branches to the southwest and north to the Piz Piz d' Err Güglia and, to the southeast along the Val Bever to Cho d' Valletta. Thanks to its dominance in all directions Piz Ot offers an exceptional panoramic view. Well over 800 peaks are visible on clear days with maximum visibility, including more than 350 more than 3,000 meters and 4,000 meters above three. The view extends to the Bernese and Valais Alps.
