The Piz Platta is a 3'392 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the above Kamnik Alps in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland and is located southwest of Mulegns and northeast of Avers. It is the namesake of the Piz Platta group, the Platta - Alps and the SAC section Piz Platta.

Location

The Piz Platta 's namesake and the highest elevation of Piz Platta group, a subgroup of the above Kamnik Alps. The summit is on the municipality of Mulegns. The border with Avers is located 350 m southwest of the summit. The Piz Platta is bordered by the Averstal the north by the Val Gronda, in the north- east by the Val Faller, to the east by the Val Bercla and the Southwest. The Val Gronda, the Val Faller and the Val Bercla are side valleys of the Above the stone and the Averstals is a side valley of the Hinter-Rhein.

Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Forbesch, the Piz Scalotta, the Piz Surparé, the Tälihorn, the Heart, the mediator, and the Usser - Wissberg and the Piz Cagniel.

The Piz Platta has a glacier in the northwest, and the Vadret as Piz Platta in the south.
