PÅ‚aszewo

Płaszewo ( German Wendish Plassow ) is a village in the powiat Słupski the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Płaszewo located in Pomerania, about 16 kilometers south of the city of Slupsk ( Stolp ) and 22 kilometers east of the city Slawno ( Schlawe ). Through the village, which lies in a valley, a brook.

History

Płaszewo was a manor, which was located as a fief held by the Boehn family. To a portion of the estate was 1690 Georg von Wobeser, whose son Ewald Rainer of Wobeser hinzuerwarb the rest later. In 1742 the estate was owned by the family Puttkamer. In 1766 Christian Wilhelm von Boehn triggered a part of the goods back on, and after the Puttkamersche Restgut had gone bankrupt, he was able to unite the whole estate back in his hand. Around 1784, there was a Wendish Plassow Vorwerk, a water mill, eight pawns, four Kossäten, a blacksmith, a schoolmaster and a total of 20 households. Around the middle of the 19th century the estate of the family Boehn was sold to middle-class clientele. 1925 were in Wendish Plassow 52 houses.

Before 1945, the village belonged, which was renamed in 1937 in Plassenberg, to the district of Stolp in the administrative region of Pomerania Pomerania. On the 1,581 acre community area, the four living places were:

  • Plassenberg
  • Klimperkaten
  • Kunsow - Kollow
  • Zaunke

Of these residences was Plassenberg the largest. 1939 in the town of 95 households and 437 inhabitants gezähl

In February 1945, towards the end of World War II, a staff department was in the place, which settled out on the approach of the Red Army to Stolp. On 6 March, the Soviet troops started taking the place. On the evening of the day of the order to evacuate the village was given. The refugee trek was soon overrun it and the inhabitants returned on 10 March 1945 back to their village. After acquisition by newly immigrated Poland, the village was renamed Płaszewo. For children of German families that had remained after the war ended in Płaszewo, let the Polish administrative authority since 1951/52, a school to which a few years after most of the inhabitants had been expelled, however, was dissolved.

In 2006 Płaszewo had 184 inhabitants.
