Please Save My Earth

Please Save My Earth (Japaneseぼくの地球を守って, Boku no Chikyu o Mamotte, in short:ぼく 地球, Bokutama ) is a Japanese manga illustrator Saki Hiwatari. It includes more than 3,700 pages and is aimed at young girls, so the shōjo category can be assigned.

Action

The central figure of the story is the 16 -year-old Alice, who has just moved with her parents and her brother in Tokyo and there does not feel quite well. It has always perceives the feelings of plants and animals and can even communicate with them. In the neighboring apartment of the 7 -year-old Rin lives with his family. The two understand initially not very good and through some unfortunate circumstances Rin ends up with Alice's fault at the hospital where he suddenly remembers a past life, where he worked on a moon base under the name Shion. In Alice he recognizes also stationed there scientist Mokuren again - his former love.

Throughout history, the two encounter other companions from her previous life and remember the terrible disaster that has them all killed.

In Japan, the manga series appeared from 1987 to 1994 in separate chapters in the manga magazine Hana to Yume, published in the same time, among other things Marimo Ragawas Aka -chan to Boku and Suzue Miuchis Glass no Kamen. The Hakusensha publishing summed up this single chapter together in 21 anthologies.

The German edition of 21 volumes published from 2002 by Carlsen Comics.

Filming

1993 filmed the animation studio Production IG part of the story as a six-part anime. The anime was released as an original video animation directly on video. It was directed by Kazuo Yamazaki.

In Germany, Anime Virtual brought the six episodes in July 2002 under the title of reincarnation - Please Save My Earth out on two DVDs. Published in 2004, these two DVDs as a collector.
