Plonévez-du-Faou

Plonévez -du -Faou ( Breton Plonevez -ar- Faou ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in the west with 2157 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located about 35 km east of the Atlantic coast north of the river Alder. Quimper is located 35 km southwest, the wholesale and port city of Brest 50 km north west of Paris and about 460 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Châteaulin, Briec and ROSPORDEN there are runs on the highway E 60 Brest -Nantes and at Morlaix and Landivisiau on the north by the E 50 Brest- Rennes. In Châteaulin, ROSPORDEN Quimper and regional train services stop at the railway line Brest -Nantes and in Pleyber -Christ and Morlaix, on the route Brest- Rennes. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris. Near Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
