Poriadie

Poriadie (Hungarian Erdősor - to 1907 Poradje ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

Location and General Description

The municipality was established on April 1, 1955 as a spin of several settlements from the city Myjava, but the place existed before (1907 Poradje 1929 Poradie ).

The municipality is located in the hill country between the Little Carpathians in the south and the White Carpathians in the north. Nové Mesto nad Váhom is located about 30 kilometers east of the community, Myjava about 2 kilometers to the east, about 20 kilometers west of Senica.

The community is connected to the rail network over the train track Nové Mesto nad Váhom - Veseli nad Moravou the Slovak railway company ZSK, this line is an hourly clock operated (as of June 2007).
