Portuguese Football Federation

The Federação Portuguesa de Futebol (FPF ) is the umbrella organization of the Portuguese football clubs. It was founded in 1914 with headquarters in Lisbon. 1923, at the FPF FIFA and UEFA in 1954. The current president of the association since December 2011 Fernando Gomes Soares da Silva. In 2004, the FPF of the European Football Championship.

Competitions

Under the direction of the FPF of the Portuguese Cup Winners' Cup and the championship of amateur leagues are played. The Meisterschaftsrundenen the professional leagues will be organized jointly with the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional. Furthermore, the FPF is the official organizer of the national futsal ( indoor soccer ), women's and junior competitions, as well as the umbrella organization of the official teams.
