Squeak ... squeak ... who drilled for oil because there? ( Original title: Pouic - Pouic ) is a French comedy film from 1963 with Louis de Funès in the lead role.

Action

The successful punter Léonard Monestier gets from his wife Cynthia a supposedly worthless oil concession in the Venezuelan jungle as a birthday gift. To again get rid of the unloved gift, Léonard summarizes the plan, the naive millionaire Antoine Brevin who has his eye on his daughter Patricia to resell the concession. Patricia tries to meet the advances of the fact that they hired a taxi driver, Simon Guilbaud as alleged husband. To convince Antoine of the concession, Léonard Simon persuaded, however, to play his son, who have just arrived from South America. Unexpectedly, suddenly is the actual Paul Monestier in the door, with the South American beauty Palma in tow, he wants to marry. The increasingly desperate attempts to bring the matter to a good solution for all to succeed at the end actually.

Criticism

The " grotesque comedy entertainment" could not hide her stage origins, suffering a little under uninspired staging, however, will by the performer to a tour de force of comedy.
