The Rivière de Puvirnituq (also Rivière Puvirnituq; formerly Rivière de Povungnituk ) is a 389 km long river in the region of Nunavik in the far north of the Canadian province of Quebec.

The river has its origin in the north of the Ungava Peninsula. From there it flows in a southwesterly direction to the Baie de Puvirnituq, a bay of the Hudson Bay, in which he leads east of Puvirnituq. A few kilometers from its mouth it flows through the lake Lac de Puvirnituq. Its catchment area covers 28,500 km ², its average discharge is 480 m³ / s
