Příluka

Příluka ( German Pschiluk ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers south of Vysoke Myto and belongs to Okres Svitavy.

Geography

Příluka located at the foot of the Bohemian -Moravian Highlands in the East Bohemian plateau among the hills Teplý Kopec and Zmrzlý Kopec. Neighboring towns are Vysoká and Javorník in the north, Posekanec, Sucha Lhota, Mošnovy and Újezdec in the Northeast, U Tří Kocourů in the east, Makov and Chotovice the southeast, Novohradský and Rybníček the southwest, Podhořany u Nových HRADU in the west and Pustinky in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Prziluca place in the year 1391st An older news of 1292 could now be assigned to a different location.

In 1454 the village belonged to the local country gentleman of Janko Přeluky. Southwest was the old, Zdenko Kostka of Postupice castle Božij Duom, in addition to this was built a new one. As this castle Novohradský 1559 went to Ferdinand I, were also the villages Chotovice, Božij Duom, Przyluka and Sucha Lhota. The village was subservient to 1789 the rule Novohradský, and was then assigned to the rule Litomyšl. The present name Příluka can be detected from 1837.

After the abolition of patrimonial Příluka formed a district of the municipality in the district Chotovice Litomyšl. 1903 Chotovice, Sucha Lhota and Příluka merged to form united community Chotovice. After its dissolution Příluka became independent. In 1869 Příluka had 380 inhabitants in 1930 were 320

In 1961 the village to Okres Svitavy. Between 1966 and 1970, Sucha Lhota was incorporated.
