Privilege Ibiza

The club discotheque Privilege (until 1994 " Ku " ) is the largest nightclub in the world.

The Privilege is located on the Spanish island of Ibiza, near the town of Sant Rafel. The nightclub was initially opened as an open air nightclub and is now a closed system. The highlight is a swimming pool where the DJ resides on an island. In the 1970s and 1980s, the Privilege was still called Ku and was a meeting place of the international jet set. In the Guinness Book of Records as the largest Privilege is registered club in the world.

In the summer season can be expected depending on the program with up to 10,000 guests. The other parties are also very well attended, however, all floors are not always open. The Privilege has a filling capacity of 14,000 people. In the environment there is also a disco Amnesia.

In Privilege can be found especially the events that are already known in the UK, including Manumission, Renaissance and others; but also parties of operators from other countries. Although the events change from year to year, the big operators, however, remain mostly the same, as a company of this magnitude requires a secure financial background.

2008, Tiësto announced that he is starting the 7th of July and ending on 22 September, spinning in the Privilege as the new resident DJ every Monday. In the four hours it occurs, it is mainly use music from his In Search of Sunrise series. The first Monday, when he was launched, called " Tiësto Solo" and took two hours longer.
