Province of Olbia-Tempio

The Province of Olbia- Tempio ( Italien. Provincia di Olbia -Tempio ) is a province of a region, which extends mainly to the Gallura. Capitals are Olbia and Tempio Pausania. It has 136 547 inhabitants (June 2005) in 26 municipalities covering an area of 3,397 km ².

The province was established in 2001 by law. In May 2005, the province chief and the provincial council were elected and the province thus established de facto.

In the province of the typical Galluran ( Gallurian ) is spoken, a dialect of the similarities with the southern Corsican has ( to Sartène ).
