Province of Pordenone

The province of Pordenone (Italian: Provincia di Pordenone) is an Italian province of Friuli- Venezia Giulia region. It has 312 911 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in 51 municipalities covering an area of ​​2178 km ².

Geography

The province is bordered on the north and on the east by the province of Udine, in the west and the south by the lying in the region of Veneto provinces of Belluno, Treviso and Venice. She was separated from the Province of Udine in 1968.

The provincial area is located largely in the plane of Friuli, smaller parts date back to the pre- Alpine and Alpine, namely the Carnic Alps and the associated Friuli Dolomites.
