Psycroptic

Band History

Psycroptic was founded in 1999 by brothers Dave and Joe Haley. A year later, the two with Matthew Chalk (vocals) and Cameron Grant took (bass ) on the debut album, The Isle of Disenchantment. Originally, there should be a demo CD; However, the band decided to release it as a real album. After the album was released in 2001, Pyscroptic were invited to play several live performances in Melbourne.

2002 was taken up in the Red Planet Studios in Hobart 's second studio album, The Scepter of the Ancients on. Following the publication in May 2003, the band went along with Incantation on their first Australian tour.

2004 was followed by a second tour throughout Australia ( with Deeds of Flesh ) and the first European tour ( with Dismember and Anata ). Vocalist Matthew Chalk interrupted the tour and was replaced by Jason Peppiatt. Chalk is currently active in Spawn of Possession.

Before the band's third studio album symbol of failure recorded, she was with Hate Eternal back in Australia on tour. The album was released in January 2006. During the same year Psycroptic were with Nile again in Europe and with Cannibal Corpse finally back in Australia on tour.
