The Pulitzer Prize for Fiction ( Pulitzer Prize for Fiction ) is awarded for excellent fiction by American authors since 1948. 1954, 1957, 1964, 1971, 1974, 1977 and 2012, there were no winners. From 1917 to 1947 was called the novel category ( Pulitzer Prize for the Novel ). 1917, 1920, 1941 and 1946, there were no winners.
