Pyrimethamine is a drug group diaminopyrimidines and is used for the treatment of infections caused by protozoa. A typical indication is the toxoplasmosis including congenital infections caused by Toxoplasma. It is in Switzerland and Germany in preparation Daraprim ® (manufacturer: Glaxo Smith Kline ) included.
