Qalansawe

Qalansawe (also Qalansuwa; Arab قلنسوة, DMG Qalansuwa; Hebrew קלנסוה ) is a city in the Center District of Israel and is situated about four kilometers west of the West Bank and 14 kilometers east of the Mediterranean. On 31 December 2007 the city had a total population of 17,800. This makes it one of the 100 largest cities in the country.

In 2001 Qalansawa consisted of 52% men and 48% women.
