Qalyubia Governorate

Al- Qalyubiyya (Arabic محافظة القليوبية Muhafazat al - Qalyūbīya, DMG Muhafazat al - Qalyūbīya, also Qalyubia ) is a governorate in Egypt and is located in the southern Nile delta.

It is bordered to the north by the province al - Gharbiyya, on the east by the province ash Sharqiyah, to the south by the province al - Qahira and to the west by the province al - Minufiyya. The administrative center is Banha. The government has 4,237,003 inhabitants.
