Qianwei County

Qianwei (Chinese犍为县, Pinyin qianwei Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Leshan in Sichuan Province, China. It has an area of 1375 km ² and has 570,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Yujin (玉 津 镇).

The Confucian Temple of qianwei ( qianwei Wenmiao犍为 ​​文庙) is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-714 ).
