Rachel York

Rachel York ( born August 7, 1971 in Orlando, Florida as Rachel Lemanski ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

York debut in an episode of the television series The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd from the year 1990. Between 1991 and 1992 she played the role of Fantine in the Broadway musical Les Misérables. The role in the musical Victor / Victoria earned her the 1996 Drama Desk Award.

In the television comedy Again Honeymoon ( 2001) York played alongside Roma Downey and Tim Matheson one of the major roles. It took over a larger role next Gregory Harrison, Katie Volding and Robin Dunne in the television comedy Au Pair II ( 2001). In the musical comedy Kiss Me Kate (2003) she played a starring role; in the biographical comedy Lucy (2003), she appeared in the lead role of Lucille Ball.
