Raf Raf

Raf Raf, Arabic رفراف, is a city in northeastern Tunisia with 9839 inhabitants ( 2004).

The city belongs to the Delegation of Ras Jebel Bizerte Governorate. It is located about 42 kilometers east of Bizerte, 7 km east of Ras Jebel and 60 kilometers north of the provincial capital Tunis and divides into two spatial layers: The main town is located north of extending in the east-west direction of the ridge which runs for Jebel Nadhour, Cape Farina representing the northern boundary of the Gulf of Tunis. Compared to the coast 2 km offshore island Pilau starts one kilometer east of a tourist settlement, Raf Raf plague or El Hmari, with a long sandy beach. Except for a short break, mainly visited by Tunisians, the place for its muscatel grapes is known.
