Ralf Dusend

Ralf Dusend ( born September 28, 1959) is a former German football player.

The midfielder Ralf Dusend received his first professional contract in 1977 with Fortuna Dusseldorf. His league debut came on April 1, 1978 in a 4-1 victory for the Fortuna against 1 FC Kaiserslautern. He came on in the 80th minute for the game Rudi Bommer. On June 23, 1979, he celebrated his first major success when he appeared as a substitute in the DFB Cup final of Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Hertha BSC in Hanover in 72 minutes for Thomas Allofs with the score at 0-0. His team won the Cup with a goal by Wolfgang Seel in extra time 1-0. From the season 1981/1982 he was one of the key players of Fortuna Düsseldorf. When the Fortuna 1987 relegation from the Bundesliga, Dusend transferred to 1 FC Nuremberg. The last competitive game of his career, he completed for the Nuremberg on 28 April 1990 at the 2-1 win over VfL Bochum. Overall, it brought Ralf Dusend to 309 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 42 goals.

On November 8, 1978 Dusend played in The Hague in a 0-2 defeat against the Dutch selection once in the amateur national team.

On September 4, 1991 his daughter came into the world.
