Ralf Schulenberg

Ralf Schulenberg ( born August 15, 1949 in Erfurt ) is a former German football player.

Life

In 1969, Schulenberg FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt to BFC Dynamo with whom he 1971/72 reached the semifinals in the European Cup Winners' Cup. 1976 ended the winger with a knee injury his career at the BFC Dynamo. Until 1982/83, he was active in motor Rudi life in the DDR -Liga.

As a trained mechanic Schulenberg worked in the maintenance of VEB chemical plants Rudisleben. After the opening in the wall, he went on 24 November 1989 the Ruhr area, where he initially worked as a truck driver, later in Mönchengladbach in the security service.

Schulenberg played nine games for the East German youth team and three 'A' matches (1972 against Uruguay (2 games) and Ghana ). With the football Olympic team of the GDR, he won the bronze medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
