The pictorial work

In Enrichs images there are a number of recurring themes that deal with the relationship between architecture and landscape. He paints large leave acting scenarios that are treated with a few architectural and vegetal elements. Here he is interested, the simplification and the representation of the Essential of things. Large screens with stationary mysterious choreographies, starting from a reality that obscure geometry and metaphysics. He plays with a variety of symbolic characters: great typography, the cypress, factories, reservoirs, cisterns, ramps, baroque gardens. His paintings are timeless and are in a sense close to Surrealism. Sometimes they reflect an ironic approach to the landscape, at the same time, they build on the romantic tradition of the genre.
