Randall Balmer

Randall Herbert Balmer ( born October 22, 1954 in Chicago) is an American historian of religion. He is a professor at Barnard College, Columbia University, editor of Christianity Today and Episcopal priest.

Randall Balmer received his Ph.D. 1985 at Princeton University. He published several books on American religious history and published the "Encyclopedia of Evangelicalism ."
