Raoul II. Sores

Raoul II Sores († 1282) was a Marshal of France in the 13th century. His father was a knight of the same name, and was named in the King Philip II Augustus environment.

With six other knights in his retinue, Raoul Sores participated in the crusade to Africa ( 1270) of King Louis IX. the Holy part. After Tunis before the reigning marshals Heric de Beaujeu and Renaud de Précigny had died of dysentery disease, he was entrusted with Lancelot de Saint- Maard with the Royal Marshal's Office. A certificate from the register of Parliaments' ( Olim ) it can be seen that Raoul Sores had died in 1282.

Raoul Sores will occasionally d' Estrées specified, as the several centuries later known in France become noble house Estrées attributed his lineage to him.
