Adjacent Mountain Ranges

Boundary

  • To the west of the Rhine forms the border of the confluence of the River Ill in Feldkirch upstream to the confluence of the country Quart same place ( This is also the border between the Eastern Alps and the Western Alps after division of the Alps)
  • In the south the Prättigau forms the boundary of the confluence of the country fourth in the Rhine upstream to the confluence of the Schlappinbachs in the country fourth in the village of Klosters.
  • In the east, the border runs from Schlappiner yoke along the valleys to the south and Schlappintal Valzifenz and Gargellental north.
  • The northern border is formed by the Montafon and Walgau. It begins at the confluence of the Suggadinbachs in the Ill at Sankt Gallen Kirch and runs along the Ill River to the confluence with the Rhine at Feldkirch.

The Schlappiner yoke connects the Rätikon with the Silvretta. Otherwise, the Rätikon is surrounded by valleys.
