Ratka

Ratka (Hungarian Rátkapuszta ) is a municipality in the south of Slovakia near the Hungarian border, about 4 kilometers southwest of Fiľakovo.

It is located in the western part of the mountains in the highlands Cerová valley of the brook baby.

The community was officially established in 1955 as a spin- Ratka together with Sikov from the community Čakanovce, but there was a deserted since the end of the Turkish wars.

Be the name of the place comes from the Turkish mythology, a high official said to have been buried here during the Turkish rule and called in the fifth heaven, " Ratka " come.
