Ray Walston
Ray Walston; actually Herman Walston (born 2 November or December 2, 1914 in New Orleans, Louisiana; † January 1, 2001 in Beverly Hills, California ) was an American theater, television and film actor.
Life
By the will of his father Walston should actually go into the oil business, but he moved from 1939 Prefer a wandering troupe of actors around, when he next Sell Tickets, and even was able to stand on the stage.
Walston then teamed up with Margo Jones for six years the Houston Civic Theater and thereafter remained for three seasons with the Cleveland Playhouse before moving to New York in 1945. The best-known role was that of Walstons Uncle Martin in the television series My Favorite Martian. He also played in the apartment of a supervisor Jack Lemmon, and the sadistic supervisor of Jerry Lewis in The shop keeper that makes this purchase on behalf of the owner of the house lives difficult. In The trick he played alongside Robert Redford and Paul Newman one of the main contributors to the great fraud action, with the most criminals to be brought to his money.

In the series Picket Fences - Tatort garden fence he played Judge Henry Bone. Most recently, he appeared as a caretaker and gardener Boothby on the campus of Starfleet Academy in sequences from the Star Trek series Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager on.
