Raymond Delisle

Raymond Delisle ( born March 11, 1943 in Ancteville; † August 11, 2013 in Hébécrevon, Manche ) was a French cyclist.

Career

1963 Raymond Delisle was still an amateur, third in the Tour de l' Avenir, a year later French masters team time trial. 1965 Delisle professional and launched in the following years twelve times in the Tour de France. In 1969 he won a stage, just as in 1976, wore the yellow jersey for two days, fourth overall and was awarded the most aggressive rider. In 1977, he was ninth, 1970, 1972 and 1973 respectively eleventh, twelfth in 1974, and in 1975 he became Sixteenth. In 1973 he reached first the Col de Portet- d'Aspet, 1974, Port d' Envalira and 1980 the Col de Peyresourde.

1969 Delisle French champion in the road race, in 1975, he won the Tour du Haut -Var and 1977, the Trophée des grimpeurs. In the Vuelta a España 1974, he won a stage.

On August 11, 2013, Raymond Delisle took seventy -year in Hébécrevon in Normandy, where he lived in retirement, life.
