Razová

Razová ( German: Raase ) is a municipality in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic. Today it has 520 inhabitants and is situated at the dam Slezská Harta.

History

Until 1918 Raase part of Austria - Hungary was (after the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867 in the Austrian territory ) in the district of Freudenthal ( Bruntál), one of the eight district authorities in Austrian Silesia.

Since 1870, the city had its own post office.

1910 lived (according to census of 1910) 1,839 permanent residents in the village, of which disclosures 1.830 or 99.5%, to speak German as their main language. Almost the same number, 1,829 inhabitants, known to the Roman Catholic faith.
