Geographical Location

The community is located 45 km east ( straight line ) from Munich and 30 kilometers north ( straight line ) of Rosenheim.

History

Rechtmehring Mehring was mentioned as Moringa first time in the year 803 and was written from 1245 to 1804 a free imperial county Hague. The original Romanesque church was the parish church village store and since 1380 independent parish under the patronage of the county Hague. In the Middle Ages until 1804 Rechtmehring was called " Office Mehring " fourth - Office of the 300-km ² territory of the Free County Hague. In the area Rechtmehring there was the place of execution of the county as well as the origin of some high judge of the county. 1567 has been a branch of the Wittelsbach of Bavaria invested by the emperor to the imperial fief of the Free County Hague.

Rechtmehring was part of Bavaria from 1567 to be counted former Free County Hague. The place belonged to Rentamt Munich and the Hague Court of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

Incorporations

On 1 April 1971 parts of the dissolved municipalities Rosenberg and Schlee field were incorporated. On 1 July 1971 parts were added by Allmannsau.

Coat of arms

Blazon: " Azure, a turned rambled, abbreviated silver tip, is a silver gezäumter red horse's head; top right of the silver crook of a bishop's staff, left a golden crescent. "

At the top is referred to the membership of the entire municipal area to the Free County Hague, shown by the red horse's head, bridled silver. The Golden Crescent rear right was the coat of arms of the monastery Mondsee taken, it is to commemorate the first mention of Mehring in 803 has been incorporated into the new coat of arms, because Mondsee had at that time owned some land in Rechtmehring. The colors red and silver in the arms have a deeper meaning, they point to the centuries-long relationship with the diocese of Regensburg. The coat of arms was designed in 1979 by heraldist Heinz C. Bessling from Heche village.
