The Rifugio Crête Sèche is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Valais Alps. It lies at an altitude of 2392 m in the valley Valpelline in the district Berrio del Governo within the community Bionaz. The lodge is run from mid-March to early May and early June to late September and offers at this time 72 climbers sleeps.
The cottage is situated within the Valley Comba di Crête Sèche whose valley forms the Col de Crête Sèche. You can walk down to the Swiss Val de Bagnes over the pass. When Berrio del Governo is a large boulder.
Rise
The climb to the hut starts in the area Ruz ( 1696 m)
Are to be estimated about 2 hours for the whole, no problems having path from the parking lot at Ruz to Rifugio Crête Sèche. Alternatively, the cottage Chez -les- Chenaux within 2 ½ hours may be committed.
History
The refuge was opened in 1982.
