Rega Research

Rega Research Ltd. is a manufacturer of high-quality hi-fi equipment from England. The company was founded in 1973 by Tony Relph and Roy Gandy. The name is derived from the surname of the founder ( Relph and Gandy ).

Rega became famous especially with the turntables, which are sold under the name " Planar " in different styles and price ranges. The two best-selling, mid-1970s, published models " Planar 2" and " Planar 3" ( officially known as the P2/P3 for some years referred to ) are available today and have been modified only slightly over the decades.

Characteristic of the Rega turntable is the most very basic equipment.
